Ladies and gentlemen : Good afternoon!! My name is Florence; I am a student on the first General/IELTS course at Shanghai Bell Language School. Today, I’m representing all my schoolmates to say: “Thank you!” to all staff members at the school, because they are really enthusiastic and helpful. For example: I studied only a little English in Junior Middle school and some technical to English at a professional school. Six months ago, I came to Shanghai Bell Language School study English. At that time, I could speak and write only few words, but now I can give presentations in public. I must say: “ It isn’t just my own success, but really from whole school’s.” Another example, I come from Wenzhou, in Zhe Jiang province; I haven’t any relatives in Pudong Shanghai. One day, I caught a cold and felt really bad, and I asked my roommate-Daisy to ask for leave from my teacher, then, Ms.Ling and Mr.Zhao, the logistics office. They came to my dormitory looked after me. My study in China before gave me a good basis. At Bell, not only have I improved my speaking, listening, reading and writing, but I have changed my study style. For example, I used to forget new vocabulary, but now I review my old and new vocabulary once a week. Also, I know I must have a clear aim in my study. I am learning how to learn for myself and by myself. Finally, the school gives me more and more help and cares, whether in study or in life. This is good school, and there are a lot of good and responsible teachers in the school. I believe my choice is right.
我的名字叫Florence，我是贝尔通用/雅思班的一个学生。今天，我想代表我所有的同班同学对贝尔全体员工说一声：“谢谢你！” 比如，我只是在初中和护专学了一丁点英语，6个月之前我来贝尔学习英语。那个时候，我只能说、写几个英语单词，而现在我能在公开场合说出这些话，我必须说：“这不仅仅是我个人的成功，这是整个学校的成功。 另外一个例子，我是从浙江温州来的外地人，在上海没有亲戚。有一天我感冒了，躺在床上，学校的后勤老师还到我的宿舍来照顾我。 我在贝尔不仅提高了听、说、读、写能力，也改变了我的学习方法。同时，我也知道我必须要有一个清楚的学习目标，我开始学会自学。 最后，学校给了我无论是学习上还是生活上越来越多的帮助。这是一个好学校，有许多负责的好老师，我相信我的选择是对的。 |
